I provide these private courses that run for a term. The participants are mainly mature students who vary from highly skilled artists to beginners and most who attend the courses are repeat students.
Again, the starting point and guidance is the individual, but there are both individual and joint exercises where we analyse, discuss and use each others work, as well as being inspired by Art and art history.

What You'll Master

You’ll explore diverse mediums – pencil, charcoal, watercolor, ink, and more – while working on still life compositions, photographic studies, and inspiring outdoor sessions with easels (when weather allows).

Popular Classes
We start with fundamental drawing techniques such as proportion, balance, composition and perspective, and work with light and shadow.
Through still life arrangements and exercises we explore the use of watercolour paints, including colour mixing and various techniques.
The teaching is tailored to each participant's wishes and level, so that everyone finds their own motifs and techniques.
We explore watercolour's light and lively quality, which lends itself equally well to quick sketches and to a thorough, layered process in landscapes and still lifes.
You will have the opportunity to experiment with colour, composition and various techniques under expert guidance. We work with both individual projects and shared exercises that inspire and challenge.
The goal is to find your personal expression and strengthen your artistic abilities. The course takes place in a creative and inspiring environment, where there is room for immersion and the exchange of ideas. Together we create an atmosphere where art and creativity can flourish.
